ROUGE vs Thunder From Down Under: which show fits your group
Both are 18+ shows, both sell out on weekends, and they solve different problems. Thunder From Down Under is a male revue built for a girls' night. ROUGE is a co-ed cabaret built for mixed groups and couples.
The core difference: who is on stage
Thunder From Down Under is an all-male Australian revue at Excalibur. The audience is overwhelmingly women, the format is high-energy male dance with audience participation, and it does one thing well.
ROUGE has both male and female performers. Acrobatics, burlesque, comedy, and variety acts share the stage. Couples watch it together, mixed bachelorette and bachelor groups book it together, and nobody in the group is watching a show aimed at someone else.
Venue and format
Thunder plays the Thunder Showroom at Excalibur on the south Strip. ROUGE plays The STRAT Theater on the north Strip, a mid-size room with reserved seating tiers and a full bar. ROUGE runs about 90 minutes, six nights a week, Tuesday through Sunday.
Which one should you book
Book Thunder if the entire group is there for a male revue and wants exactly that. Book ROUGE if the group is mixed, if you are a couple, or if you want variety acts and acrobatics alongside the burlesque. Plenty of groups in Vegas for a full weekend do both.
