ROUGE vs Fantasy: Which Topless Show Should You See

Fantasy at Luxor and ROUGE at The STRAT are the two shows people compare most when they search for a topless show in Las Vegas. They come from different eras and they are built for different audiences. Here is the actual difference.

The Short Version

Fantasy is a classic all-female topless revue that has run at Luxor since 1999, built around live vocals and choreography. ROUGE is a newer, co-ed production with both male and female performers, and it adds acrobatics, aerial acts, and comedy on top of the burlesque numbers. If you want the traditional Vegas revue format, Fantasy is that show. If you want a mixed cast and a wider range of acts in one production, ROUGE is that show.

Cast

Fantasy is an all-female cast, which is the format its longtime audience expects and the reason it has lasted this long on the Strip. ROUGE runs a co-ed cast of about 18 performers, split between men and women. That difference decides who the show is really for. A bachelorette party where the bride wants an all-female production should book Fantasy. A couple, or a group with both men and women who each want someone to watch, is better served by ROUGE.

Format

Fantasy runs closer to a traditional revue: dance numbers, a lead vocalist, and costume changes, built around music and choreography rather than physical stunt work. ROUGE folds acrobatics, aerial silks, contortion, and comedy segments into the same show, so the pacing moves between very different types of acts rather than staying in one lane. If you want a straightforward dance and vocal revue, Fantasy delivers that cleanly. If you want more variety in a single ticket, ROUGE covers more ground.

Price and Venue

Fantasy generally has a lower entry price than ROUGE and runs at Luxor on the south end of the Strip. ROUGE performs at The STRAT at the north end, with four seating tiers, Gallery, Preferred, VIP, and Premium VIP, giving a wider price range within one show than Fantasy offers. If you are staying near the north Strip, ROUGE is the closer option. If budget is the deciding factor and cast makeup is not, Fantasy is usually the cheaper ticket.

Which One Fits Your Group

Book Fantasy for a classic female revue, a group that wants live vocals over acrobatics, or a bachelorette party built specifically around an all-female cast. Book ROUGE for couples, mixed friend groups, or any group where an all-female or all-male show would leave part of the party without anything to watch.
